Just opposite Milina is the small island of Alatas, where the monastery of Agioi Saranta is located. There is only one resident who takes care of the monastery and the animals of the island. The island is accessible to those with a boat, offering a special exploration experience.
At a distance of about 15 km to Trikeri, in the southern direction, you can discover the idyllic location of Tzasteni. Trikeri, a traditional village on the southeast coast of the Pagasitikos Gulf, is 35 km from Milina. In the harbour of Agia Kyriaki, visitors can dine in taverns famous for their fresh fish and lobster.
Just before Trikeri, about 6 km, there is the road that leads to Haloporos. From there you can take a water taxi to the island of Paleo Trikeri, where cars are not allowed, offering a quiet and unique experience in this small, untouched paradise.
